Product design and feel
The diagnostics market, in particular laboratory and point-of-care diagnostics,
will continue to grow all over the world. An increasing focus on specific pharma-
cological therapies to deliver personalized medicine, is one driver of growth in
analytical-medical diagnostics.
The growing number of people all over the world with chronic illnesses and the
increasing pressure on costs will result in diagnostics shifting towards the patient
(point-of-care). Besides functionality, product design and the look-and-feel will
therefore also determine how patients accept new products.
